Mediation Referral Program
BASF's panel of mediators work to help parties find a mutually agreeable resolution for almost any kind of conflict.
Conflict Intervention Service (CIS) Program
Funded by the City & County of San Francisco, BASF mediators provide free conflict intervention services to qualifying residential and commercial Tenants and Landlords in SF to help resolve disputes, divert eviction, stabilize housing, and support vibrant neighborhoods.
ADR Training Programs
- 40-Hour Mediator Certificate Training: Hybrid participatory training with three in-person days and two virtual days
- Mediate to Settle – 40-Hour Mediator Certificate Training with Dr. Sukhsimranjit Singh (in-person, begins August 31, 2026)
- 40-Hour Mediator Certificate Training with Ron Kelly (virtual, begins October 3, 2026) (Registration link to come)
- 20-Hour Arbitrator Certificate Training
- Advanced Mediation Training
- The Brilliance of Bracketing – March 24, 2026 (in-person)
- Relational Workplace Mediation – half day training on April 22, 2026 (in-person)

Special Education Program
BASF offers free, professional, neutral ADR services to help SFUSD families and staff resolve conflicts related to the unique learning needs of students who qualify for special education supports and services through their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
Become a BASF Mediator
BASF's mediation panels are composed of highly experienced professionals with extensive mediation training and practice backgrounds.
At this time, BASF is accepting new mediators by invitation only. The mediation panel is not open to general applications.
