Elizabeth H. Shwiff, CFE, CPA, PFS, CFP, AEP, USTCP is the managing partner and director of practice development for Shwiff, Levy & Polo, LLP, where she provides comprehensive tax and financial services for clients worldwide. Her expertise includes financial planning, fraud investigations, litigation support services, due diligence of life insurance, pension plan investment products, general business services, mediation and arbitration in a wide range of areas.

A sought-after expert witness and partner for litigation teams worldwide, Shwiff has an unparalleled depth of expertise and breadth of knowledge, as well as unimpeachable credibility in a variety of environments, from boardrooms to courtrooms. She is a FINRA public arbitrator; she passed the federal bar exam for the US Tax Court in 2019 and has active cases there. She has been a practicing mediator and arbitrator for more than two decades. She served as a volunteer mediator for the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Attorney/Client Fee Disputes program for 14 years, hearing cases in areas such as contract, employment, immigration, civil, and criminal disputes, and currently serves as a volunteer mediator for both the San Francisco Police Commission’s Office of Citizen Complaints and the Community Boards of San Francisco. She received her international coaching certification in 2021.

Shwiff has worked around the world for the U.S. State Department and other entities; she is an expert in linguistics and speaks four languages; she holds a master’s degree in taxation, among other degrees.
