Frank Wisehart is a Managing Director in BRG’s Forensic Accounting practice and a forensic accountant and valuation expert with more than 30 years of experience in complex, high-stakes litigation. He is a former Audit Manager at Ernst & Young and a former CFO, bringing practical operating and financial reporting perspective to disputes involving accounting judgment, damages quantification, and business valuation. He serves on the AICPA Professional Ethics Executive Committee’s Enforcement Subcommittee and is a former Chairman of NACVA’s Litigation and Forensics Board. He is a national instructor in damages, valuation, and forensic accounting and a contributing author of Wiley’s Business Valuation, Fundamentals, Techniques and Theory.

Prior Expert Experience
Frank Wisehart has testified more than 120 times in federal and state courts, arbitration, mediation, and regulatory proceedings, including matters before the PCAOB. His testifying experience spans forensic accounting, business valuation, lost profits and economic damages, alter-ego analysis, accounting methodology and GAAP compliance, intellectual property, family law, and bankruptcy. He has been retained in matters exceeding $300 million in disputed damages and has led more than 400 business valuations across a wide range of industries and capital structures. He is frequently engaged where methodology, accounting judgment, and damages models are expected to be challenged, and is known for his ability to withstand aggressive cross-examination and present complex financial issues clearly to judges, juries, and opposing experts.
