My role as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®) is to assist you and your lawyer with understanding how the financial decisions you make today can impact your financial future.
Many divorcing couples have questions like: Where will the children live? Who will pay for their education and medical treatment? How do we value our property? Who gets what property? What tax issues should we be concerned with? How do we divide retirement funds and pensions? What happens if a paying ex-spouse dies?

Prior Expert Experience
I have sat on the stand under oath once but not as a CDFA. I was working part-time at a San Francisco family law office waiting for my chance to show I could be a great paralegal. A very delicate family law issue was being determined and I had reviewed hundreds of files. It was scary but it was also the beginning of my dedication to helping those going through divorce.
