JDC's annual Gala is an opportunity for the San Francisco legal community to gather and celebrate the collective impact of more than 1,500 volunteer and staff attorneys who provide legal services, advocacy, and support that more than 9,000 people in San Francisco rely on each year. JDC raises funds to provide pro bono legal services and diversity educational programs to those in San Francisco who need it most. Last year alone, more than 8,500 people received legal services through JDC. Celebrate the legal community’s shared investment in justice and diversity with us!

41st Annual Judges Reception | June 12
The Barristers Club invites San Francisco judges for an evening of mingling with new lawyers of the Barristers Club. Although the Barristers Club is comprised of law students and attorneys in their first ten years of practice, all levels of attorneys are encouraged to attend. The reception provides a unique opportunity for associates, summer associates, and law students to meet judges in an informal setting.
Outstanding Volunteers in Public Service Celebration
The Outstanding Volunteers in Public Service (OVIPS) Celebration is our annual event honoring volunteers who have contributed significant time and experience to the various pro bono programs of The Justice & Diversity Center. Volunteers in attendance are from the nine projects and programs of the JDC, which includes the Homeless Advocacy Project, Family Law Project, Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, and Educational Diversity Pipeline, among others.
