The Solo and Small Firm Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) hosted its Fourth Annual Solo & Small Firm Conference: Connecting and Community Building.
The conference took place on January 23 at BASF. The keynote speaker, James Wagstaffe, Wagstaffe, von Loewenfeldt, Busch & Radwick, delivered an engaging presentation on communicating and connecting through storytelling. Following the keynote, a series of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs covered topics such as law firm succession and emergency planning, trust accounting for small firms, law firm mergers and acquisitions, and strategies for practicing law and wellness.
The conference had over 100 attorneys in attendance. Attendees were treated to high-quality CLE programs that included rich, substantive content and specialty credits for ethics and competence. Attendees also enjoyed excellent networking opportunities at preconference workshops, between CLE programs, and during a post-conference reception. The conference included lunch for all attendees, and refreshments throughout the day.
The co-chairs of the Fourth Annual Solo & Small Firm Conference Committee were Veronica Guinto of Fallon, Bixby, Cheng & Lee, and Mark J. Seifert of Seifert Law Firm.
Save the date for next year’s Annual Solo & Small Firm Conference, which will be held on January 28, 2021. The co-chairs for the Fifth Annual Conference are Ryan W. Stahl and John B.
