On the warm evening of April 26th, the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) hosted the first Meet Your Environmental Regulators Reception in three years. We had over 100 guests join the Reception, including representatives of many environmental regulatory agencies: California Department of Toxic Substances Control, SF Bay Conservation and Development Commission, Bay Area County Local Oversight Programs, California Coastal Commission, California Attorney General’s Office, Regional Water Quality Control Board, Bay Area Air Quality Management District, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and U.S. Department of Justice.
It was an evening filled with laughter, networking, and resource-sharing with wonderful food and music. The Reception is a unique opportunity for legal and non-legal professionals to connect with BASF’s Environmental Law Section Members and Environmental regulators from municipal and state environmental regulatory agencies in an informal setting.
