Michael A. Kelly, Shareholder at Walkup Melodia Kelly & Schoenberger, was honored with the Consumer Watch 2025 Lifetime Legal Achievement Award. For almost a quarter of a century, this award has been given to 17 of California’s accomplished Consumer Advocates. During his acceptance speech, Kelly spoke on the importance of young lawyers to continue the work of advocating for those who have been harmed.

Gregory C. Cheng, managing director of Ogletree Deakins’ San Francisco office has been selected as a Fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers’ Class of 2026. This honor recognizes lawyers with at least 20 years of experience and who have significantly shaped the labor and employment law field. Cheng, and the other Ogletree attorneys chosen, will be formally inducted this November.
