Have you ever wanted to change the law, write a new law, or participate in the legislative process in California?

BASF’s Delegation to the California Conference of Bar Associations (CCBA) invites members to join its delegation to the 2014 CCBA Conference, to be held in conjunction with the California State Bar Annual Meeting in San Diego September 12-14.

As a member of the delegation, volunteers study and take positions on proposed legislation originating from BASF and other bar delegations around the state, and debate and vote on them at the conference. Each year more than 20 CCBA resolutions get introduced as bills in the California legislature, and approximately 15 of them typically become part of the statutory law of California.
