On July 25, 2018, the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) hosted its annual In-House Counsel Diversity Reception where members gathered to celebrate, honor and recognize the achievement of their colleagues. Hosted by Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, the event drew close to 50 attendees from the legal and professional community.

Deborah Daniloff, Assistant General Counsel and Director of Global Transaction Services of Bank of America, received the individual award. The corporate award was presented to the legal department of the Golden State Warriors, and David Kelly, General Counsel and Vice President of Basketball Legal Affairs, accepted the award on behalf of the department. In receiving his award, Kelly emphasized the importance of hiring not only diverse candidates but the most excellent as well.
