Multiple Minami Tamaki Attorneys are Best Lawyers in America

Congratulations to the following attorneys from Leader Circle firm, Minami Tamaki, who were listed among The Best Lawyers in America, 2027 edition! They include partners Sean Tamura-Sato, Olivia Serene Lee, Suhi Koizumi, Senior Counsel Dale Minami, and Senior Associate La Verne A. Ramsay. The process for recognition is a rigorous one including the collection of client and lawyer evaluations, peer reviews, and a review of additional information provided by the law firm.  

John Worden listed as Lawyer of the Year

Congratulations to John S. Worden on being named to the Best Lawyers 2027 list, subcategory Lawyer of the Year. Among the 200+ Venable attorneys recognized across the nation, Worden was the sole Lawyer of the Year representing San Francisco. He has served as the long-time chair of BASF’s Alternative Dispute Resolution/Arbitration Section and has served as a former board member of both BASF and JDC. 

Phong-Chau Nguyen Recognized by Benchmark Litigation

Benchmark Litigation has announced this year’s Benchmark 40 & Under Hot List, which includes Lieff Cabraser partner, Phong-Chau Nguyen now his ninth recognition. As the “definitive guide to the world’s leading litigation firms and lawyers”, the list has recognized litigation attorneys across the United States and Canada. Nguyen’s practice specializes in consumer and defective product cases as well as personal injury/mass tort matters.  

WilmerHale Team featured in Washington Post

A team of WilmerHale attorneys who were working pro bono for petitioners challenging California’s death penalty were recently profiled by The Washington Post. This team, including member Jessica Lewis, worked alongside The Legal Defense Fund the ACLU Capital Punishment Project, the ACLU of Northern California, and the California Office of the State Public Defender. 

MoFo Partners Named 2026 BTI Client Service All Stars

Congratualtions to Morrison Foerster partners, Carig Martin and Joseph Gratz, on being named to the 2026 BTI Client Service All Stars that highlights lawyers who deliver outstanding client service. This recognition is based on in-depth phone interviews as part of its ongoing Annual Survey of General Counsel. Martin serves as chair of the Investigations + White Collar Defense and Sustainability + Corporate Responsibility practices. Gratz is an integral part of the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation practice.
