The Justice & Diversity Center (JDC) thanks the two law firms and two accounting firms who joined JDC in holding a free clinic for nonprofit organizations: Morgan, Lewis & Bockius; Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton; Deloitte Consulting; and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Deloitte began the clinic by discussing sound financial management with six nonprofits who serve low-income communities.

Volunteer lawyers and accounting professionals then met with the nonprofits individually to assess their legal and financial health.

The nonprofits help under-served communities by promoting healthy communities and access to healthy food, advancing racial and economic justice, as well as providing education opportunities and mentoring, access to justice in criminal appeals and philanthropic resources.
