LRIS – Raymond R.
I cannot say enough good things about the attorney…he was very knowledgeable and very efficient and zeroed in on the issues I needed help with.

In the midst of making important decisions every day, it’s great help to have an organization like this. I truly appreciate the ease, convenience and value of this service.
Your advice was literally priceless.
The Panel is a great way to get referrals, as high a quality of referrals as you’ll find.
We have had about 20 really good personal injury cases through the LRIS, and have now settled or tried our fifth, six-figure case through the Service.
Thank you to the entire staff at the Referral Service for their hard work and dedication. I really appreciate all you do for my practice. You all truly help the community and those in need of access to justice.
The kids end up feeling empowered. It takes time, it takes work, it takes organization. We’re proud of that work and our relationship with BASF.
Coming from my background, being an attorney always seemed out of reach. Both my parents are immigrants and they’ve never been to college. Even though they try to help me in whatever ways they can, there are still many areas that they’re unable to help me in. If I become an attorney, I will be able to help people, starting with my parents.
I was so very impressed with the quality of the teams and their knowledge and enthusiasm. As for corporate lawyers, they should not be afraid of volunteering either as a scorer or even a presiding judge. It helped me to know that the facts, case law and grounds for objection were a closed universe, so actual courtroom knowledge (though preferable) was not an absolute necessity.
As a mom of two teens, the best part about participating as a Scoring Judge for me was to see how passionate the students are about people’s rights to a fair trial and their appreciation for our judicial system. They took their job very seriously and showed exceptional skills and some serious preparation. Great job!
The 1L Open Door Shadowing program is a valuable opportunity for students to get a taste of what it really feels like to work in a legal environment of their interest. Opening the door to first-year students can provide them with the type of clarity needed to make that important decision about where law students should focus their efforts during the critical summer between 2nd and 3rd year. I congratulate JDC in helping law students balance the adages of ‘fools rush in’ and ‘don’t knock it until you’ve tried it.’
I am a first-year law student, a first-generation professional, and this program allowed me to see the legal profession outside of law school. Conversing with practicing attorneys that are not my professors bolstered my confidence in the classroom. I am tremendously grateful to the program because it gave life and context to the material that I’m learning in class.
