Joseph McGowan as Co-Chair of RJO’s Construction Practice Group
Congratulations to Joseph McGowan on being elevated to co-chair of the firm’s Construction Practice Group. In their firm announcement, they share that “McGowan has practiced construction law for more than 31 years, focusing his practice on public works, government contracts, suretyship and construction-related real property disputes.” He will be working alongside Aaron P. Silberman, and draw upon his experience in bench trials, jury trials, and arbitration.

WilmerHale has announced that former California Solicitor general, Michael Mongan, will be joining the Leader Circle firm’s Appellate and Supreme Court Litigation Group come December. Jules Ross, One to Watch
Congratulations to Jules Ross, associate at Lieff Cabraser, on being named a 2025 “Lawyer to Watch” by the California Lawyers Associaiton’s Antitrust & Consumer Protection Section. This recognition is bestowed to early career attorneys exemplifying excellence in California consumer protection law and will be presented to Ross during a Kick-Off Reception and Lawyer to Watch Award Presentation in San Francisco. The selection committee especially recognized her work on the T-Mobile/Sprint merger and mentorship among her peers.
