John Keker Receives Lifetime Achievement Award from The Recorder
John Keker, the partner and one of the founders of Keker, Van Nest & Peters, has recently been honored with the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award by The Recorder. With a career that has spanned 53 years, he has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to advocacy, conviction, and resilience. In an interview regarding his award, he shares valuable insights and advice, “[…] overcome your very natural fear of failure, which is built into all strivers who have been successful in college and law school. Jim Brosnahan Receives Glenna Goodacre Creative Arts Award
Jim Brosnahan, the 1977 BASF President, received the Glenna Goodacre Creative Arts Award presented by the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. This recognition stems from Jim’s work in writing his highly praised memoir, Justice at Trial, as well as his many years of plein-air painting—a path he almost pursued in school before trial law. This award is given to those who hold accomplishments in creative fields, including theatre, music, film, creative writing, graphic design, photography, or any form of visual arts. Congratulations, Jim; this is an outstanding achievement.
