Justice & Diversity Center Announces 2018 Board of Directors

November 16, 2017 -- San Francisco -- The Justice & Diversity Center (JDC) of The Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) recently confirmed its 2018 Board of Directors. Malcolm Heinicke, Munger Tolles & Olson, will serve as President; Doris Cheng, Walkup, Melodia, Schoenberger & Kelly, will serve as President-Elect; Stuart Plunkett, Baker Botts, will serve as Treasurer; and Marvin K. Anderson, AT&T Legal Department, will serve as Secretary. 

Newly confirmed directors for 2018 are A. Marisa Chun, McDermott Will & Emery; Michelle Ferreira, Greenberg Traurig, Alicia Gámez, Gámez Law; Ari Hersher, Seyfarth Shaw; Anjali Kulkarni, Duane Morris; Elinor Leary, The Veen Firm; Marie Ma, Gap Inc.; David Reidy, McGuireWoods; Chuck Thompson, Polsinelli; Wendy Umphrey, Baker Street Advisors and Jee Young You, Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer.

The new board members will join continuing board members: Khaldoun Baghdadi, Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Schoenberger; Erin Connell, Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe; Deborah Daniloff, Bank of America; Robert Esposito, Morrison & Foerster; Steve Hirsch, Keker, Van Nest & Peters; Erick Howard, Shartsis Friese; Jessica Jacob, Komply Inc.; David Kelly, The Golden State Warriors; Elinor Leary, The Veen Firm; Rob Meyerhoff, Venable; Ragesh Tangri, Durie Tangri, Mohammad Walizadeh, Hanson Bridgett and Blair Walsh, Abramson Smith Waldsmith.

Outgoing board members are Merri Baldwin, Rogers Joseph O’Donnell; Holly Gaudreau, Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton; Sebastian Kaplan, Gerard Fox; Miriam Kim, Munger, Tolles & Olson; Phyra McCandless, Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy; Felicia Medina, Medina Orthwein; David Otsuka, Wells Fargo Legal Department; and Tony Schoenberg, Farella Braun + Martel.
