The BASF Cannabis Conference provides attorneys an opportunity to enhance their practical skills in the rapidly-evolving cannabis space; offers attorneys the chance to learn about the cannabis industry and movement; and provides attorneys the chance to build connections and a strong bar for San Francisco.

Speaker: Nicole Elliott, Director, San Francisco Office of Cannabis
Director Elliott will offer her views on the successes and challenges of the past nine months and her office’s areas of focus for the future of regulation of commercial cannabis in San Francisco.

Session II: Ethical Management of Conflicts of Interest
Speaker: John Steele, The Law Office of John Steele
Berkeley Law Professor John Steele will present an overview of the ethical issues involved in managing conflicts of interest with a focus on lawyers representing clients in the cannabis industry.

Session III:
Hot Topics for Cannabis Lawyers & Clients
Local cannabis lawyers and clients will discuss the hottest topics facing both them and others looking to work with the cannabis industry, with a focus on lawyers who are curious about practicing in this space.
