David Meadows is a flexible and experienced mediator, specializing in complex and challenging disputes. He has conducted over 1,000 mediations and a substantial number of arbitrations in a diverse array of situations, generally in the context of commercial litigation but in other settings as well. Issues raised include breach of contract, partnership, employment, real estate, insurance coverage/bad faith, fraud and other business torts, intellectual property, construction, securities, consumer fraud, landlord/tenant, personal injury, note collection and work out, defamation, civil rights, embezzlement, simultaneous civil and criminal proceedings, and others.

Mediation is a creative process, and Meadows tries to respond to what would work best for an individual case given the parties, counsel, and circumstances, rather than to approach each case the same. He is comfortable working with business people making calculated business decisions and with people who feel strongly about the underlying events and/or relationships that give rise to a legal claim.

Meadows has trained in different techniques from which he can select and adjust as appropriate. His goals are to help the parties reach a settlement, or if that is not possible to help them reach interim agreements that can provide a foundation for settlement in the near future, and to do so efficiently and with good humor.
