A full time neutral, he applies his 42 years of experience as a business trial lawyer in national law firms handling a diverse range of business disputes involving varied business sectors in federal and state courts and administrative agencies in 26 states, China and Canada.
Burke has mediated investment disputes including family businesses and business divorces as well as contract, commercial real estate, construction defect, real property, HOA, civil rights, artists and employment claims; involving commercial retail, recycling and computer services businesses, office buildings, homeowners, multi-family residential, a mortuary and art galleries.
Burke has represented individuals and companies, plaintiffs and defendants in securities, commercial, contract, fraud, business torts, merger and acquisition, stock and asset purchases, accounting and legal malpractice, antitrust, unfair competition, government contract, pharmaceutical and health care false claims, theft of trade secrets, patents, employment, cybersecurity, real estate and environmental claims and electronic discovery disputes involving the financial, professional and real estate services, and technology, aerospace, life sciences, medical devices, manufacturing, refinery, utility, computer sales and software, IT security and printed circuit board sectors.
Burke graduated from Cornell University and Harvard Law School and has extensive mediation training through Pepperdine, the ABA Section of Dispute Resolution and the Association for Dispute Resolution for Northern California.
