Volunteer Legal Services Program Recognized for Services to Homeless
The San Francisco Local Homeless Coordinating Board (LHCB) recently selected VLSP’s Homeless Advocacy Project (HAP) as the recipient of their September “Homeless Service Provider of the Month” award. LHCB honored HAP in mid-September.
LHCB is the lead entity for the San Francisco Continuum of Care Plan. The nine-member local board works to ensure a unified homeless strategy that is supported by the mayor, the Board of Supervisors, city departments, non-profit agencies, people who are homeless or formerly homeless and the community at large.
