BASF Supports Passage of Senate Bill 260

March 25, 2013 – San Francisco – The Bar Association of San Francisco supports passage of Senate Bill 260.

According to Human Rights Watch, over 6,500 people now in California prisons were under the age of 18 at the time of their crime. Some were as young as 14 years old. More than half have life sentences. If passed, SB260 would give judicial review of these cases after ten years, and the possibility of a reduced sentence.
