NewsroomSan Francisco Legal Community Surpasses Food From The Bar Goal
July 20, 2012 – San Francisco -- The Bar Association of San Francisco and the San Francisco and Marin Food Banks celebrated a record-breaking annual Food From The Bar Campaign at an awards ceremony at One Market Plaza on July 10. The campaign included 73 participating organizations raising $566,019 – exceeding the campaign goal by 8 percent; collecting 9,482 pounds of food; and contributing 848 volunteer shifts at the food bank. Food from the Bar is the legal community’s annual fundraising drive to benefit the San Francisco and Marin Food Banks. Because of your tremendous efforts we have exceeded previous records and our original fundraising goals.
