BASF and its Barristers Club Announce Board of Directors for 2010

December 7, 2009 -- San Francisco
-- The Bar Association of San Francisco and its Barristers Club, the new attorney division of BASF, will install their new board of directors at the December 17 Annual Membership Luncheon to be held at the Hyatt Regency.

Arturo González, Morrison & Foerster LLP, will succeed to the office of the president. Priya Sanger, Wells Fargo Bank Legal Department, will serve as president-elect; Kelly Dermody, Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, LLP, will serve as treasurer and Christopher Kearney, Keker & Van Nest LLP, will serve as Secretary.

New directors to serve in 2010, 2011 and 2012 are Merri Baldwin, Chapman, Popik & White LLP; Susan Kumagai, Lafayette & Kumagai LLP; Isabelle Salgado, AT&T; Tracy Salisbury, Shartsis Friese LLP and Guy Wallace, Schneider Wallace Cottrell Brayton Konecky LLP.  David Tsai, Townsend and Townsend and Crew LLP, will serve as one of two Minority Bar Coalition’s representatives on the board.

These new directors will join continuing directors Monty Agarwal, Arnold & Porter LLP; Doris Cheng, Walkup Melodia Kelly Wecht  & Schoenberger; Daniel Dean, Fotouhi Epps Hillger & Gilroy PC; Haywood S. Gilliam, Jr., Covington & Burling LLP; Melinda Haag, Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP; Jonathan Hayden, Lovitt & Hannan, Inc.; David Hopmann, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP; Victor M. Hwang, Office of the District Attorney of San Francisco, and representative of the Minority Bar Coalition; Catherine S. Kirkman, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati; Timothy W. Moppin, Duane Morris LLP; Robert Sims, Latham & Watkins LLP and Doron Weinberg, Weinberg & Wilder.

The Barristers Club, BASF’s new attorney division, also will install its 2010 Board of Directors at the Annual Luncheon. Avin Sharma, Vasquez Benisek & Lindgren LLP, will serve as President; Sara Noel, Filice Brown Eassa & McLeod LLP, will serve as Vice President; Kaelyn J. Romey, U.S Department of the Treasury, will serve as Treasurer and Lauren Schall, The Law Office of Lauren Schall, will serve as Secretary.
