BASF's Head Start Gift Program Serves Thousands of Kids this Holiday Season

January 6, 2009 -- San Francisco -- Not even an uncertain economy could stop the generosity of the legal community this past holiday season. More than 44 firms, organizations and legal departments participated in BASF's Head Start Holiday Gift program, bringing gifts to more than 1,870 needy children enrolled in Head Start classes. Many of these children have special needs, are at risk or are homeless.

Each year BASF recruits legal employers to buy holiday gifts for the three, four and five year old children in San Francisco 's Head Start classes.

The law firms, corporations and organizations that sponsor these classes receive individual wish letters from the children in the class they sponsor and buys gifts for each child.
