BASF Announces Board of Directors for 2009

October 14, 2008 -- San Francisco -- The Bar Association of San Francisco's 2008 Nominating Committee, chaired by immediate Past President Nanci Clarence, Clarence & Dyer, LLP, announced its slate of new directors to serve on the 2009 BASF Board of Directors.  

Russell Roeca, Roeca Haas Hager, LLP, will succeed to the office of the president in 2009. Arturo González, Morrison & Foerster LLP, will serve as BASF's president elect; Priya Sanger, Wells Fargo Bank Legal Department, will serve as treasurer and Kelly Dermody, Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, LLP, will serve as Secretary.

New directors, who will serve three-year terms beginning in 2009 include: Doris Cheng , Walkup Melodia Kelly Wecht & Schoenberger; Tim Moppin, Duane Morris LLP; Catherine Kirkman, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati; Jonathan Hayden, attorney at law; Melinda Haag, Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP; Monty Agarwal, Arnold & Porter; and Haywood Gilliam, Bingham McCutchen LLP.

Continuing directors include Laurel Beeler, U.S. Attorney's Office ; Daniel Dean, Fotouhi Epps Hillger & Gilroy; Nicole Harris, Legal Department Pacific Gas and Electric Company; David Hopmann, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP; Christopher Kearney, Keker & Van Nest LLP; Bill Lann Lee, Lewis, Feinberg, Lee, Renaker & Jackson, P.C.; Lorie Nachlis, Nachlis & Fink; Vid Prabhakaran
Goodin, MacBride, Squeri, Day & Lamprey, LLP; Robert Sims, Latham & Watkins LLP; and Doron Weinberg, Weinberg & Wilder.

The 2009 officers and board members will be installed at the BASF Annual Membership Luncheon on December 18 at the St. Francis Hotel.
