BASF Foundation Announces Four New Directors
August 7, 2007 - San Francisco - The Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) Foundation recently announced the appointment of four new members to its board of directors.
Peter H. Carson is a partner at Bingham McCutchen LLP. His practice focuses on representing domestic and foreign banks, commercial finance lenders and other institutional lenders. Fey Epling, of Drinker Biddle LLP, is past President of BASF's Barristers Club. Epling is an associate in the firm's Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Stuart Plunkett is a partner at Morrison & Foerster LLP. His practice focuses on complex business litigation, as well as consumer class action matters and a variety of commercial disputes. Martin Sabelli is a partner at Winston & Strawn LLP. His practice focuses on white-collar criminal defense and corporate internal investigations.
The four new board members will join current Foundation board members Lovely Dhillon, Law School Consortium Project; Clothilde Hewlett, K&L Gates; Peter Meier, Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker LLP; Tracy Salisbury, Shartsis Friese LLP; and Foundation President Thomas Worth, Law Offices of Thomas B. Worth.
The BASF Foundation is charged with raising funds for BASF's youth, diversity and charitable programs, including BASF's flagship Volunteer Legal Services Program (VLSP).
