The Bar Association of San Francisco to Co-Host Fundraising Event for Tsunami Relief Januray 28
Event Co-Hosted With the Minority Bar Coalition (MBC) and Support From Bingham McCutchen

January 18, 2005 - San Francisco —The Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) will co-host a fundraising event for tsunami relief with the Minority Bar Coalition (MBC) on Friday, January 28 at the Old Federal Reserve Building, 400 Sansome Street, San Francisco, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.

BASF, together with the Minority Bar Coalition and law firms, lawyers, and law students throughout Northern California, will be hosting this event to raise funds for victims of the December 26 Indian Ocean tsunami.

BASF and MBC will utilize this event to maximize the local legal community's efforts to raise funds for aid to victims of the tsunami and to salute the organizations that have already generously donated to cause thus far.

Local law firms and organizations that have already contributed include Bingham McCutchen, the Consumer Attorneys of California, Cooley Godward, Gibson Dunn, Heller Ehrman, Howrey & Simon, Morrison & Foerster, Orrick, Pillsbury Winthrop, Skadden Arps and Wilson Sonsini.
