Cybersecurity and Privacy Law

The purpose of the Cybersecurity and Privacy Law Section is to provide timely information and analysis regarding global developments in cybersecurity, privacy, and data protection law. We will focus on a variety of topics including emerging technology, business practices, legislation, regulatory and self-regulatory initiatives and litigation developments.

The Section is composed of BASF members with expertise in privacy and data security law as well as government, technical and private sector representatives, and will offer periodic meetings, presentations and publications. We will also seek to foster collaboration between government, private sector and technology stakeholders.
