Please note: This training is for attorneys who have already taken the Family Law Project's Guardianships and/or Introduction to Family Law training.

JDC's Guardianships Project provides pro bono legal representation to low-income households in San Francisco in guardianship proceedings.
This training is intended for volunteer attorneys who have taken, or are contemplating taking, a pro bono Guardianships case. A panel of experts-including a representative from San Francisco's Probate Court, family law attorneys including supervising attorneys from the Justice & Diversity Center and Legal Services for Children, and an experienced volunteer who has worked on multiple Guardianships cases pro bono, will share their experiences and provide tips for navigating the Guardianships process.
