Topics:
* The program will be in the nature of a bench/bar conference to foster understanding as to mutual expectations regarding the revised Patent Local Rules.
* This program will feature a discussion with three Northern District Judges regarding the implications, expectations and compliance with the recent changes to the Patent Local Rules.
* Certain of these changes have been or may be controversial. The revised pretrial procedures, including restriction on the number of claim limitations to be construed and disclosure of contentions, will likely foster lively and informative discussion.
* The changes in disclosure requirements in the revised rules may also have implications on discovery obligations in litigation.
