The Appellate Section of the Barristers Club presents
2010 United States Supreme Court Preview
October 4, 2010:
MCLE Credits - 1.5 H
Please note: The October 2010 edition of BASF Bulletin incorrectly lists the title of this program as a "Review" and not a "Preview" of the upcoming court. We apologize for the error.
On October 4, the Supreme Court will convene for the first time in 35 years without Justice Stevens, and for the first time ever with three female justices. This term will bring cases deciding whether California must release 40,000 prisoners to comply with an order to reduce overcrowding, the privacy rights of NASA contractors, the constitutionality of a ban on the sale of violent video games to minors, and much more. Please join us that very evening to hear about the cases and issues to watch in the coming term.
