Golfing for a Good Cause

Tournament raises money for diversity programs

Nearly 90 golfers played 18 holes of golf at The Bar Association of San Francisco’s Second Annual Putting for the Pipeline Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, September 17. Special guests included California Supreme Court Justice Ming Chin and Bill Neukom and Jack Bair of the San Francisco Giants.
The golfers on the winning team were Gregory Spallas, Robert Phillips and Todd Angstadt, all of Phillips, Spallas & Angstadt LLP and James H. McPhail, Delta Dental of California.

The day concluded with a dinner reception, including a raffle and silent auction. Seats in the Owner’s Section to a San Francisco Giants home game and an Official Major League Baseball autographed by Buster Posey of the San Francisco Giants were among the auction items. Proceeds from the event benefit BASF’s Diversity Pipeline Programs.
