Charity Golf Tournament Raises Much Needed Funds for BASF’s Diversity Pipeline Programs

 

More than 100 golfers played 18 holes of golf on Septem-ber 23 to help raise funds for BASF’s third annual Putting for the Pipeline golf tournament. Proceeds support BASF programs that offer college counseling to at-risk youth; LSAT course preparation to undergraduates applying to law school; and financial aid assistance to law students.

The golfers on the winning team were Richard Diestel and Peter Van Zandt of Bledsoe, Cathcart, Diestel, Pedersen & Treppa LLP; Michael Greenberg of Covington & Burling LLP; and James McPhail of Dental Dental.

Additional winners were:

  • Longest Drive, Women: Lesley Weaver, Shepherd Finkelman Miller & Shah
  • Longest Drive, Men: Alexis Sinclair, Bingham McCutchen
  • Longest Putt, Women: Amy Frenzen, Drinker Biddle & Reath
  • Longest Putt, Men: Austin Holian, The Recorder
