2012 BASF Board Confirmed

 

BASF’s Nominating Committee recently announced its new slate of 2012 officers and directors, who will be installed at the association’s annual membership luncheon on December 15.

Kelly Dermody, Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, will succeed to the office of president in 2012. Christopher Kearney, Keker & Van Nest, will serve as president-elect; Stephanie Skaff, Farella Braun + Martel, will serve as treasurer; and Timothy Moppin, Jackson Lewis, will serve
as secretary.

Directors who will serve in 2012, 2013 and 2014 are Tammy Albarrán, Covington & Burling; Pamela Fulmer, SNR Denton; Paul Henderson, San Francisco Office of the Mayor; Christine Richardson, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman; Joshua Ridless, Law Offices of Joshua A. Ridless and Wilma Wallace, Gap Inc. Demetrius Shelton, Shelton Law Offices, is the second representative from the Minority Bar Coalition (MBC). Quyen Ta is the other MBC representative.

The new board members will be joining the following continuing board members: Merri Baldwin, Chapman Popik & White; Krystal Bowen, Bingham McCutchen; Stuart Hanlon, Hanlon & Rief; Susan Kumagai, Lafayette & Kumagai; David Lowe, Rudy, Exelrod, Zieff & Lowe; Stuart Plunkett, Morrison & Foerster; Isabelle Salgado, AT&T; Tracy Salisbury, Shartsis Friese; Quyen Ta, Keker & Van Nest; Michael Tubach, O’Melveny & Myers; and Guy Wallace, Schneider Wallace Cottrell Brayton Konecky.

Outgoing members include 2011 President Priya Sanger, Wells Fargo Bank and directors Monty Agarwal, Arnold & Porter; Doris Cheng, Walkup Melodia Kelly & Schoenberger; Haywood Gilliam Jr., Covington & Burling; Jonathan Hayden, Lovitt & Hannan, Inc.; Catherine Kirkman, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati; Timothy Moppin, Jackson Lewis (succeeded to secretary) and Minority Bar Coalition representative David Tsai, Perkins Coie.
