Want to Improve California’s Laws?

Attend May 9 Reception to Learn About BASF’s Delegation to the Conference of California Bar Associations (CCBA)

Have you ever thought, “There oughta be a law?” One effective way to take that thought and make it a reality is by drafting, debating and discussing a resolution with the BASF Delegation to the California Conference of Bar Associations (CCBA). Delegates then ready their proposals for legislative action and participate in it becoming law. The CCBA is the successor organization to the State Bar Conference of Delegates and participation is open to all local, minority, statewide and specialty voluntary bar associations in California.

The CCBA is a unique forum for lawyers to work together and provide leadership in improving the law.

Find out about how you can get involved with the BASF delegation to the CCBA at an informational reception at the offices of Jackson Lewis on May 9. Want to imporve California Laws?

Chaired by Timothy Moppin of Jackson Lewis, the BASF delegation is very active at the conference and typically submits more than 20 resolutions. In prior years, the BASF delegation has submitted resolutions related to the civil right to counsel, marriage equality, and changes to Civil Procedure.

The 2013 conference will take place on October 11-13, 2013, in San Jose.
