BASF’s Yolanda Jackson and Gap Inc.’s Michelle Banks Recognized by the National Diversity Council

 

BASF member Michelle Banks, executive vice president and general counsel of Gap Inc., and Yolanda Jackson, deputy executive director and diversity director for BASF, were both named by the National Diversity Council as “2012 Most Powerful and Influential Women of California.”

The award will be presented to 23 women during the Third Annual California Diversity & Leadership Conference held February 2 at UC Berkeley.

The award honors Banks and Jackson for providing leadership excellence in the public and/or private sector; sustaining a record of accomplishments throughout their careers; making a significant impact on revenues and profitability within their organizations; demonstrating leadership within the community; and exhibiting a commitment to the highest ethical standards and professional excellence.
