Bar Association of San Francisco Barristers Club SectionsHealth LawHealth law attorneys are in every facet of legal practice, including, but not limited to, firms, in-house counsel, and legal services organizations. The Health Law section seeks to educate its members on a wide range of topics related to health, including medical care legislation, public health policy, health insurance benefits, and health care litigation. CLE seminars have covered health care reform and tobacco regulation. The section will also provide guidance to attorneys who are new to health law or interested in becoming health law practitioners, and it will host events for other Barristers Club members who are interested in learning more about how health law and policy issues overlap with their areas of practice.
