Michele McGill was born and raised in San Francisco, earned her undergraduate degrees from San Francisco City College and U.C. Berkeley and obtained her law degree from U.C. Davis (King Hall) in 1981. McGill has been active as a civil litigator since 1982, working for various firms before establishing her own firm. McGill received mediation training from the Northern District of California and completed the BASF 40 hour training course. McGill has served as a mediator since 2003 and has successfully resolved dozens of cases on a broad range of matters. McGill is also a Judge Pro Tem of the San Francisco Superior Court and presently serves as a commissioner in the Small Claims Court. McGill is a member of the real property and litigation sections of the State Bar of California and The Bar Association of San Francisco, and is a member of the executive committee of the State Bar Litigation Section. McGill's broad range of experience enables her to appreciate each party's relative strengths and weaknesses and guide them in finding a solution that will work for them. McGill's best days as a mediator are when a case settles that no one thought could settle or when the parties find a solution that is uniquely their own. Hourly rate: $300 |
