Roberta Jeffrey received her J.D. from Golden Gate University in 1991, where she served on the Golden Gate Law Review for two years. She brings over 20 years of private and public-sector employment experience to the practice of mediation.

She maintains a solo practice, and has been mediating a wide variety of cases since 1992. Her broad business experience informs her mediation practice. Prior to attending law school, she earned a Masters of Public Administration in 1983 from Golden Gate University, graduating with Honors, and was a recipient of the Outstanding Graduate of the Graduate School of Public Administration and the Samuel C. May Award from the Western Governmental Research Association. She was selected in a national competition as a Presidential Management Intern and served as an Energy Research Program Coordinator for the US Dept. of Energy, acting as a liaison between DOE and the five national laboratories in the Bay Area: Livermore, Lawrence Berkeley, Stanford Linear Accelerator, and two U.C. biomed labs.

Prior to her public-sector experience she worked in the private sector as a production editor for publishers such as Harcourt Brace, McGraw-Hill, and John Wiley. Roberta serves on numerous mediation panels in the Bay Area including California State Court of Appeals, Marin County Superior Court, California Department of Insurance, and UCSF medical center, to name a few.

She is a member of the Mediation and Arbitration sections of The Bar Association of San Francisco and of the Workplace section of the American Bar Association, as well as numerous mediation professional organizations.
