Lynn Hansen is an attorney who has been involved in the mediation process for over twenty years. She is currently a Pro Tem Administrative Law Judge for the Office of Administrative Hearings. In her capacity as mediator Hansen has mediated hundreds of cases in the following areas: Education, Contracts, Civil Rights, Government Contracts, Intra-Organizational, Fee Disputes: Hansen has mediated hundreds of disputes while under contract with the Special Education Hearing Office and the Office of Administrative Hearings. Cases have included contract disputes between parents and school districts, fee disputes between parties within the confines of government contracts, civil rights disputes between parents and educational agencies and public agencies working with the disabled population. Cases have also included civil rights disputes under the Americans With Disabilities Act. Labor/Employment: She was involved in a mediation/ negotiation process over a two-month period between Fresno County Employees and Management regarding contract renewal and rights under the Americans With Disabilities Act. Landlord/Tenant: Hansen has mediated landlord/tenant disputes through the Berkeley Neighborhood Mediation/Resolution process. She has spent many years mediating the legalities of the Americans With Disabilities Act and its application throughout the legal system, including landlord/tenant disputes. Women's Issues: Hansen mediated family law and women's issues while a Marriage and Family Counselor at Family Court Services and in her private practice. She was a Marriage and Family Counselor employed by Family Court Services for almost fifteen years prior to becoming an attorney. As such she has been involved in mediation/ counseling for almost twenty-five years. A mediation synopsis is to be submitted five days before a scheduled mediation. Hourly Rate: $150 plus traveling costs at $100 |
