David H. Fielding creatively resolves labor, employment and other business related disputes. He has over 25 years of civil litigation experience with the long established labor and employment law firm of Bushnell, Caplan, Fielding & Maier in San Francisco, California. His law practice has encompassed both trial and appellate work in both state and federal courts and has included the litigation, mediation and settlement of individual as well as class-wide claims and lawsuits. Fielding's approach to alternative dispute resolution is forthright, efficient and most importantly, effective. With extensive litigation and mediation experience he has served frequently and successfully as Mediation Panelist for The Bar Association of San Francisco, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and private attorneys and their clients. He has also served as San Francisco Superior Court Judge Pro-Tem. Fielding is a graduate of Stanford University with a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering. He received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center where he served on the editorial board of the Georgetown Law Journal. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1969 and is a member of the bars of the United States Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and various federal district courts and state courts of appeal. Fielding also served in the United States Peace Corps in Peru from 1964 to 1966, is fluent in Spanish, and has acted as an international consultant to various law school and government related entities in Central and South America.
