Guy Kornblum has been a trial and appellate lawyer in San Francisco for more than 45 years, and has been head of his own firm for more than 35 years. He is very active in the practice and has been involved in hundreds of mediations both as a mediator and as a representative of the client. He conducts mediations both in person and remotely via Zoom.

Kornblum is certified in Civil Trial and Pre Trial Practice Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy; a Life Member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and a Charter Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, Trial Lawyer Honorary. His firm was nominated for a California State Bar award for pro bono services in 2004, and he has been selected as Northern California's "Super Lawyer" for each year since 2006. He co-authored "Negotiating and Settling Tort Cases: Reaching the Settlement,” 4th Ed. 2021-22, published by Thomson Reuters Publishing Company. His practice also includes consulting for clients on litigation management and mediation techniques.

Kornblum regularly lectures and writes on the subject of mediation. He also is a contributing author to the California Continuing Education of the Bar publication, "Effective Use of ADR in California," published in 2005. He has served as a pro tem judge in the San Francisco Superior Court overseeing settlement conferences and serves on the Bar Association of San Francisco panel of mediators. He writes a bi-monthly column for the Consumer Attorneys of California’s Forum Magazine.

Hourly rate: $495. Rates are adjustable depending on the complexity of the case and time required. Flat rates are available in certain cases.
